Lucia was born on 9 October 2013 in Germany in the world renowned kennel ‘von Warringhof’. She is from the first litter between Ijuri von Warringhof and Frieda von Warringhof. This litter was so successful that it was repeated a second time for the Warringhof ‘U’ Litter.
Her sire, Ijuri remains fit and active at 10 years of age and was until very recently participating in high level trials. He has achieved many successes in his 10 years including; IDC World Champion 2016, German Champion 2016 and 2017, Belgian Champion 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017.
Her dam, Frieda was in very good health when she reached her 11th birthday in 2018 but unfortunately died following an accident shortly after in November 2018. She was a female of exemplary quality in terms of her contribution to the breed and her achievements. She participated in the German Championship in 2012, Winner of the Regional championship in Niedersachsen in 2012 and Koerung for Life grade 2A.
Lucia is a tall and elegant female, very confident and environmentally stable. In dog sport she displays unparalleled willingness to work and high food and play drives. She transitions easily between prey and aggression in protection work and in the home she is happy to switch off and relax. She is an excellent companion in the home and very loving and affectionate with her family and visitors.
Lucia’s pedigree includes some of the most influential sires of recent years including Tarek van de Berkensingel, Bingo vom Haus Astegg and Donak von der Sonnenleite. Let’s not forget the strong females behind our beautiful girl including Xarah von Warringhof her grandmother and also mother to Ottomac, the 3-time IDC World Champion.
