Leo was born on 15 April 2017 in Bavaria, Germany from the connection between two World Champion dogs. Ijuri von Warringhof and Lucia von der Burgstaette.
Leo’s sire, Ijuri remains fit and active at 10 years of age and was until very recently participating in high level trials. He has achieved many successes in his 10 years including; IDC World Champion 2016, German Champion 2016 and 2017, Belgian Champion 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017.
His dam, Lucia is also in fine fettle at the age of 9. She has shown herself admirably over the years, winning multiple Regional Championships, competing at the German Championship in 2012 attaining 3rd place and participating again in 2013 and 2014. She has competed at the All Breed National Championship in Germany twice and of course at the IDC Dobermann World Championship four times in 2013, 2014 (3rd Place) and 2015 when she became World Champion and participated again in 2016.
Leo is a muscular young male who shows great speed in both his work and in daily life! In dog sport his grips are always full and hard and he shows high aggression and dominance of the helper. He has excellent play and toy drive and is always happy to engage with his handlers. At home Leo likes to play the clown and is very loving and affectionate with his family.
